DR KINGSLEY OKONKWO, A PASTOR OF PARTICULAR CONCERN.
Years ago, I said "our children may not have the privilege to hear the undiluted gospel if we don't rise up and defend the message we received from the Apostles".In as much as everyone is entitled to thier opinion and what they do, it is not applicable to believers and  those preaching the gospel of Christ. In this kingdom, we don't have a life of our own we are sold out in Christ. Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Our actions, choices and wishes should be consistent with God's word which is our model and guide. We don't do it because we want but because it will edify and be profitable to those following us. If a preacher or leader would just do what he likes because 'it is his life' such person is not fit to lead; you must always think about your followers and those looking up to you. 
I feel so sad hearing pastor Kingsley and others defending the drawing of tattoo. You have lived for 50years with no tattoo, you have been preaching for years but just yesterday, you realized that you were sent to those 'drawing tattoo' meaning you never knew your calling all these while. So teary!
I call on all of us today, popularity is not validity,  we should learn to examine everything we see and hear in the light of God's word. The fact that an influencial  person does it doesn't make it right. Learn to scrutinize what you hear and do no matter who tells you to do it. 
Remember your home training, remember the first time you became born again, remember the things your spirit and soul detested, remember the BREATHREN and how you were then. God does not trend , anything that trends will end quickly. 1 Cor 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Let your bible guide you and not any man.
