THE WHISPERING OF THE SPIRIT. SATURDAY PROPHETIC SERVICE SERMON - M.TOMMY, LEAD PASTOR OF Peace Ark Ministry 

There are discussions that only children of the inner chamber can hear. Some information is not meant for public consumption, but if you are lucky to be around the bearer of such information, it could be yours. There is nothing as lovely as getting secret information or discussions firsthand, being aware of something before it happens. 

The case of the Shunnamite woman and Elisha clearly explains the subject of our discussion. Having a man of God is different from just knowing one. You could know a man of God but not have him. No access at will or life-changing communications born out of the relationship established.

 A lot of people have become victims of circumstances because they didn't have prior knowledge of what the future holds, hence falling into an avoidable net. The man of God Elisha whispered to the Shunnamite woman what even the king of Israel, didn't have firsthand. According to 2 Kings 8, the man of God shared a prophetic secret with the woman, telling her to run to another country because famine was coming to her nativity. That was information that no one had, according to the Bible, except the Shunnamite woman. She was graced to get that because she had Elisha around and definitely had access to him. That relationship with the man of God spared her seven years of famine. 

If we read further to verse eight of the same chapter, we would see a man called Hazael sent by the king of Haram to meet Elisha in Damascus and inquire if him( king Benhadad) would recover from his sickness. The man of God answered and said, yes, he will, but the king will surely die. He wept while revealing this to the servant sent by the king to make the inquiry on his behalf. Hazael was to be the next king if Benhadad died, and he wasn't pleased that the king would recover from his sickness. Elisha passed two messages: 'the king will recover, but he will also die' because Hazael was plotting to eliminate the king. When Hazael returned to the king, he didn't convey the message to him as received. He told the king he would recover but didn't tell him he would surely die, as Elisha told him. King Benhadad was eliminated in cold blood because he was not strong enough to see and hear from Elisha; he couldn't get the prophetic whispers of Elisha. Certainly, if he was aware of the 'death' prophecy, he would have been more careful. 

People of God, there are revelations that can't be made public; it's only genuine, submissive, and connected children that can get such insight. Don't just know prophets, pastors, evangelists, or teachers; have one that you could reach at any time so that when the secret of life is released to him, you could get the information whispered to you firsthand to act accordingly, because God says he won't do anything without first revealing it to his prophet. The two scenarios show how important it is to have a man of God who hears from God. Look for a man of God today, submit, learn, and take correction so that you could also be among those who get the whispers of the spirit.
