THE DRIVER OF GODLY PROGRESS (PART 2)

DRIVER OF GODLY PROGRESS (PT 2)

We resumed service this year, 2026, with so much energy and determination to make a difference, understanding very well that where there is improvement, there is no difference.

I mounted the pulpit on January 7th to introduce a series that will last a month with four powerful and insightful messages to transform the minds of the worshipers; I titled it, THE DRIVERS OF GODLY PROGRESS.We have considered two drivers so far, which are competence and credibility. We had earlier discussed competence, and today I want to focus on credibility.

The question would be, "What is credibility?"Credibility is simply being truthful and trustworthy. I further made them know that credibility is a very strong currency that could purchase relationships and attention. People all over the world are looking for trustworthy people to handle their business, transact, and partner with. They are not just looking for experts or professionals but men of credibility.

Let's look at these three levels of credibility:1. Expert credibility comes from skills and knowledge in a specific field. How credible is your expertise? Can one trust you to deliver a service or product? When your business partners or clients are satisfied, they will come back without you calling them. The impression you created can't just be erased.2. Personal credibility is built on trust and honesty. Does your word really count? You should be so reliable that people believe what you say without asking extra questions.3. Institutional credibility comes from being part of an institution or organization. Remember to not just work or belong to a place; be sure it has a reputation and credibility. You are simply like the institution you belong to.After considering these three levels, you would have a rethink about credibility. It should be boldly written in your heart.

Credibility does not just happen; it's built over time. Years of consistent truthfulness and trust create this lasting impression in the minds of people. Don't just pray and have faith; these principles are equally vital for your success this year.1 Kings 17 talks about Elijah and the woman of Zarephath. She believed Elijah was a man of God initially but was so convinced over time after her child died and Elijah brought him back to life. See verse 24 of that chapter: "Then the woman said to Elijah, 'Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.'"Situations come to prove our credibility and reaffirm us. The trials we overcome, the tests we pass, and the tasks we solve all help build our credibility.

People will voluntarily come to you when you are reliable, truthful, and trustworthy. You won't struggle in business when you have credibility. Keep building, keep being trustworthy, and keep being truthful.God bless you. Join us next Wednesday for another driver of Godly progress. You can see the video on YouTube @ M Tommy teachings.
