FEAR NOT!
It is no longer necessary to keep emphasizing the all-sufficiency and sovereignty of Almighty God. The psalmist says, “Once God has spoken, twice have I heard: that power belongs to God” Psalm 62:1]. Our God has no equal. What men call “powerful” is only a shadow the smallest fraction of God’s being.
Brothers and sisters, there is no man strong enough, powerful enough, brutal enough, or fierce enough to pluck you out of God’s hand. Fear not! No matter how gigantic or intimidating anyone may appear, they are still flesh and blood. That means their power is nothing before the Almighty God.
Have you been threatened, warned, attacked, or dared by mortals who carry themselves as gods? Don’t worry. Every battle directed at you as a child of God is directed at God Himself. You are the apple of His eye. Make the Word of God your breath, and you will see God manifest through you. Do not fret when mere flesh and blood issues threats, when they promise to rain brimstone, or when they swear to let hell loose. Fear not!
The Bible says in Isaiah 31:1-3: 1. Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek the LORD! 2. Yet He too is wise and can bring disaster; He does not take back His words. He will rise up against that wicked nation, against those who help evildoers. 3. But the Egyptians are mere mortals and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out His hand, those who help will stumble, those who are helped will fall; all will perish together._
If you have taken time to read these scriptures, your confidence will rise rapidly. As long as men are not God, our victory is assured in Christ Jesus. Do not yield to the appearance of fear, nor concede to it. The Egyptians are men, and their horses are flesh, not spirit. Only Almighty God can speak, and all will tremble in fear, not flesh and blood.
Let me conclude with Isaiah 41:10: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”_
God’s promise of protection and divine covering is our confidence, for He who watches over us neither slumbers nor sleeps. No man is powerful enough to challenge what God has instituted, nor can they break what God has covenanted.
Our victory is assured! Our protection is covenanted! Our lives are hidden in Him!
Hallelujah!
