THE DRIVER OF GODLY PROGRESS (PART 3)
Praise be to God, the strength of His people. We are already in week three of our four-week teaching series on the above subject.
We had considered competence in week one, credibility in week two, and consistency in week three as drivers of Godly progress.Since this is week three, let's talk about consistency. The man of God, M. Tommy, defined consistency as doing something regularly and reliably over time without change for a steady and predictable result. He listed the three stages of consistency as the initial stage, developing stage, habitual stage, and mastery stage.
He charged the congregants to judge themselves correctly and find where they belong in those stages mentioned.Reading from the book of Ecclesiastes 7:8, "The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride." He stressed that God is more interested in our beginning and ending. "How we started is so important, and how we end is more important," he added. We all have genuine and legitimate excuses to quit or give up.
Anytime you are tired about a thing, you need rest, not quitting. Rest, eat, and strategize again. Don't ever bury that seed God gave to you. Make a tree out of it.One thing is certain: if you don't give up, Satan will. If your faith says yes, God won't say no. Be consistent and determined to win; stay intentional.
Always remember why you started, and let that guide and motivate you in the face of discouragement.
Remember what Jesus said in the book of Luke 9:62, "Jesus replied, ‘No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.’
"I pray for the spirit of resilience upon you; it shall end in praise.M. Tommy's teachings. #Pam #peacearkministry
